UCAN/FirstBook time lapse video
Over the course of 24 hours in a parking lot outside the UFT’s Bronx borough office, 250 UCAN volunteers organized and distributed more than 40,000 free books to 1,000 educators and parents. The event was jointly sponsored by the UFT, the American Federation of Teachers, and the nonprofit organization, First Book.
