UFT Headquarters, 50/52 Broadway

The UFT headquarters operation settled into its new quarters at 50 and 52 Broadway in the spring. Most staff is located at 52 Broadway, an 18-story building one block south of Wall Street with modern technology, expanded facilities including an auditorium (scheduled for spring 2004 opening), and enough space to adequately service members' needs.
Most meetings for members will be scheduled at various locations in the new headquarters. Meeting notices should include room numbers but information on all meeting locations will also be available at the security desks in both the 50 and 52 building lobbies.
Many subways, express buses and several public parking lots are nearby and some offer discounts for UFTers.
A guide to the Wall Street area, including information on restaurants, will be available in the lobbies of both buildings.
Because of heightened security, members will need to show photo identification in order to enter the buildings.

Subway Stops
50/52 Broadway is easy to get to from all parts of the city and just a few blocks from many Manhattan-bound subway lines.
4 or 5 train (first car; last car from Brooklyn) to the Wall Street station: "Broadway and Exchange Place" or "Broadway and Rector Street" exits. Walk 1 block south on Broadway to 50/52 Broadway.
2 or 3 train (first car; last car from Brooklyn) to the Wall Street station: "Wall Street" exit. Walk 1 block south on William Street to Exchange Place. Walk 2 blocks west on Exchange Place and make a left onto Broadway. Walk 1/ 2 block south to 50/52 Broadway.
N or R train (last car; first car from Brooklyn) to the Rector Street station: "Rector Street and Trinity Place SW" exit. Walk 1 block east on Rector Street and turn onto Broadway. Walk 1 1/ 2 blocks south to 50/52 Broadway.
J, M or Z train (first car; last car from Brooklyn) to the Broad Street station: "Exchange Place and Broad Street" exit. Walk 2 blocks west on Exchange Place and turn left onto Broadway. Walk 1/ 2 block south to 50/52 Broadway. 1 or 9 train (first car) to the Rector Street station: "Morris Street and Trinity Place" exit. Walk 1 block east on Morris Street. Make a left on Broadway and walk 1/ 2 block north to 50/52 Broadway.
