    This is a participant-driven workshop. Bring 20 copies of a biographical or true-information poem that you like or have taught, with specific references as to how you would use this poem in the classroom. Worksheets on figures of speech, genres of poetry and rhythm patterns will be discussed.

    Following a sports-announcer opening fit for a major boxing event, these comedians face off in two rounds of hilarious stand-up to test which funnyman can win the audience.     When used properly, technology can enhance instruction, promote student learning, and cultivate a classroom and respect and engagement. In this workshop, participants will learn the ways in which the Google Apps for Education can be used to facilitate classroom collaboration, streamline parental engagement, and bring dynamism to your everyday instruction.

    Participants will learn how to access the cloud, create and share files, as well as collaborate on projects with colleagues and students. You must have an active Gmail account to participate in this workshop. A $10 fee is required to participate.
