    In this LearnUFT workshop for teachers and paraprofessionals, participants will take a hands-on look at the design process, utilizing coding to explore the skills necessary to navigate a dynamic workplace. These 21st century skills and concepts can be used to engage students and strengthen their understanding of post secondary choices. Join us as we explore how programming can empower students to develop a college or career pathway. Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) credits are available.

    In this LearnUFT session for Queens teachers and paraprofessionals, participants will describe the characteristics of language performance at each proficiency level. Participants will also be able to name strategies that can be implemented at each proficiency level to provide students with access to mathematical problems. Two CTLE hours will be offered.

    In this LearnUFT workshop for Bronx teachers and paraprofessionals, participants will explore strategies for engaging students in historical thinking using arts aligned tools to build historical awareness. Participants will also analyze multiple sources in order to make claims as they interpret historical events. Two CTLE hours will be offered.

    In this LearnUFT session for Manhattan teachers and paraprofessionals, participants will explore the six models of co-teaching and consider how flexibility in teaching strategies can enhance student learning outcomes.
