    The impact of caring for a family member can be significant, affecting a caregiver’s career, finances and health. There are resources and practical steps available, many at little or no expense. PSS Circle of Care’s Senior Director Sonja Shute and Executive Director Rimas Jasin will explain how. This seminar is presented by UFT Welfare Fund Medical Learning Series in partnership with PSS Circle of Care. Light refreshments will be served.

  • Using Questioning and Discussion Techniques (Component 3B) (LearnUFT High Schools) Workshop 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

    Questioning is at the heart of teaching and learning. This workshop will focus on ways educators can refine their questioning techniques in order to create a more student-centered classroom. We will also discuss questioning strategies designed to differentiate content for all students. Strategies educators can use to help students generate their own questions will also be discussed. Two CTLE hours will be awarded.
