Fifth Annual Guidance Counselors Conference Stresses Need For Counselors Now Is More Than Ever

Counselors throughout the five boroughs came to UFT Headquarters on Sunday, March 22, 2009 to participate in Professional Development Workshops at the UFT's Fifth Annual Guidance Counselors Conference. Retiring Guidance Counselor Chapter Chair Leader Angela Reformato introduced her successor, Rosemarie Thompson as 150 counselors received words of praise for their work with students from UFT Vice President Michael Mulgrew.
