Transfer Period

The contract that was ratified last year includes the Open Market Transfer Plan. As we approach the time period for this transfer plan, the UFT has instituted a section on its Web site at www.uft.org called “The Grapevine” (on the lower left side of the home page). This section is open for comments about your school so we can build a useful database of information about schools. Is the administration supportive? How the parking? Is your school safe?

Share your insights about your school by clicking on Grapevine so potential colleagues can make informed decisions about transferring to your school.

Remember the deadline for transfer without any releases is Aug. 7.
