Schools that Received an Allocation for the IEP Teacher Position
The attached list includes all the 960 schools eligible for the IEP teacher position and whether the position was defined by the Department of Education as bilingual. The column headed "Manpower Hours per Week" reflects the number of hours of release time the Department of Education calculated based on an average workload and allowing three hours per initial case and one hour for re-evaluations and triennials. The following table shows the number of schools with each allocation and a conversion from hours to forty-five minute periods:
