ASK FOR A UNION REPRESENTATIVE

If your manager calls you into his or her office to speak about your work performance, 
ASK FOR A UNION REPRESENTATIVE.  Something that may look very innocent to you may result in discipline.  It is your right to have a representative.  Do not let management tell you otherwise.  It is also your responsibility to ask for a representative.  If management refuses to allow you to have one, file a grievance.  If you have any questions, speak to your local representative or call the Federation of Nurses/UFT at 212-420-7981 or send an e-mail to: agoldman@uft.org.

WORKERS' COMPENSATION
