Educational Pathways
The UFT Teacher Center and the NYSUT Education and Learning Trust have collaborated with Empire State College’s Harry Van Arsdale Jr. Center for Labor Studies of the State University of New York (SUNY) to offer a unique, fully accredited program of study.

- The two latest courses in this program will be offered in spring 2007 and will earn participants a total of 6 undergraduate credits. On-site registration for these courses will be held at all borough offices during October. Pre-registered participants will be notified with details regarding time and date. A pre-registration coupon is provided for your convenience. Applications will be available for Career Ladder tuition vouchers.
- Career Ladder Program for PARAPROFESSIONALS
- Pre-registered paraprofessionals, seeking to further their careers in education, may register in October, 2006 for these undergraduate courses, which are part of an accredited program of study with Empire State College that may be used toward a bachelor’s degree. Class space is limited to 25 students, but an additional section may be formed, depending on space availability.
