Free Tax Preparation

Provided by ACORN at UFT Borough Offices

Free tax services will again be available for UFT members who earned less than $35,000 last year. The service, offered by the community group ACORN, will be available at all five UFT borough offices. You must call the borough office to make an appointment.

ACORN provides the free service to ensure that persons eligible for earned-income and child tax credits claim them on their returns. That could substantially lower the tax liability of eligible filers.
