For the last five years Patricia Taylor has been a District 75 paraprofessional in PS 721 at Legacy HS. Before that she was a para for 10 years at several other schools in the city. In 2002 she was a para representative.

Pat has been highly successful working with struggling students individually as well as with large groups. She is instrumental in organizing and facilitating field trips and volunteers for numerous activities during and after school. She has been a fundraiser liaison, assists the Senior Student Council and the music club.

Pat is also an assistant instructor for the Harlem Hospital Dance Leadership Program. She is a staunch unionist, noting “the UFT has always been there whenever needed.” She enjoys arts and crafts and is proud that her oldest daughter is graduating from college in the spring. Her sister is in her first year as a teacher.
