5 Year Longevity and 5% Contractual Raise

3,866 eligible pedagogues and 47 paraprofessionals WILL NOT be receiving the new 5 year longevity increase effective 5/19/08 on their check dated 5/30/08.
These members will be receiving their 5 year longevity plus arrears for the 12 days in May (5/19-5/31) on their 6/15/08 check.
Over 5,000 members, eligible for their 5 year increment, will receive it on time.At our insistence the DoE has agreed to send a letter of apology to the members’ homes.
We have been assured by the DoE that all members will be receiving their 5% contractual raise on time.
