ENHANCED MEDICARE PART D SIMPLIFICATION???

Members are responsible for 25% of the cost of medications until $563 out-of-pocket is spent. (NO DEDUCTIBLE)

After that, members are responsible for 60% of the cost of Medications until $4,050 out-of-pocket expense.

* Once out-of-pocket costs reach $4,050 all further medications will either cost 5% or $5.60 Brand ($2.25 generic) WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

* A new benefit, the UFT Welfare Fund will reimburse to members any outlay above 5% or $5.60 in the catastrophic category. This must be done within ninety days from the time you reach the catastrophic category
