UFT Hurricane Relief Fund

In the wake of this disastrous hurricane season, many of our members in Florida and the Caribbean are in dire straits and in need of some financial assistance to help restore their homes and to return their lives to a semblance of normalcy. Our retired members who are on fixed incomes are especially needy at this time.

The UFT, which has a long history of coming to the assistance of our members, is launching a relief effort for those in Florida and the Caribbean who have suffered financial losses from the effects of this season's storms.

Please be generous if you can and make a needed contribution. Please make your check payable to the UFT/Hurricane Relief Fund. Be sure to include your Social Security number so that we can give you a receipt for tax purposes. You can mail your check to: UFT/Hurricane Relief Fund, United Federation of Teachers, 52 Broadway, New York, NY 10004, Attention: Michael Dubin, 11th Floor Accounting.

Thank you for you generous contribution.

Fraternally,
Michael Mendel
Director of Staff
