Paperwork Reduction

Speech chapter paperwork has been mounting since our last paperwork reduction memo in 2001. Several of our executive board members including Sandy Robinson, Margaret Rice, and Danita Susi shared with our chapter leader several suggestions for reducing redundant paperwork. UFT Vice Presidents Carmen Alvarez and Aminda Gentile have been assisting the chapter by meeting the DOE on this important matter. We will keep you posted on this important issue. Too much time is being devoted to excessive and redundant paperwork. The union has conducted surveys that show that paperwork significantly overburdens our members.
