MESSAGE FROM MINDY

On May 12, at union headquarters, our chapter celebrated Better Speech and Hearing Month. Our speech chapter committee co-chairs, Kathy Lewis and Brenda Caquais, along with committee members Ava Geddes, Christina West, Lorina Alert, Jennifer Knight, Jerry Sandell and Bruce Campbell worked since last June to plan this event. They collaborated with Judy Manning at speech central in the Department of Education to coordinate gifts and contact speech supervisors about the event.
