Date: Sunday, June 17
Time: 2 p.m.
Assembly Point: The UFT contingent will be gathering on 110th Street, midway between 5th and Lenox Avenues, on the park side of the street. Directions »
March: Starting at 3 p.m., we will proceed down 5th Avenue, ending at 79th Street and Madison Avenue.
Join your fellow UFT members as we walk with civil rights, faith, labor and community groups in a silent march to protest New York City’s “stop-and-frisk” policy. Let’s stand together to show that New Yorkers refuse to let young men of color be victimized by racial profiling.
