Can my dependent purchase coverage after his/her COBRA expires?
Dependents expiring from COBRA (which ends at age 26) may be eligible to purchase Age 29 Dependent Coverage at the same cost as COBRA. As long as the member and dependent maintain eligibility, this benefit will continue until the end of the dependent’s 29th year. The Age 29 coverage form (which states the requirements) is available online.
