What is a SAVE room?

A SAVE room (named after the acronym for the state school safety law - Safe Schools Against Violence in Education) is an area or room that houses students who have been removed from their classrooms or suspended from school, or, in the case of elementary schools, suspended from "buddy schools." The room must be staffed and instruction provided by a licensed pedagogue.
