New York City Food Bank’s CookShop training program
October 22, 2011






Nearly 1,000 educators and parent coordinators participated in the New York City Food Bank’s daylong CookShop hands-on training program, where they learned how to implement healthy nutrition classes for children and parents in their schools. It was held at UFT headquarters in Manhattan on Oct. 22, and focused on how to make healthy food choices on a limited budget.
