Hundreds turned out to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire on March 25, including many classes of school children. Students had been learning about the horrific fire, which took 146 lives of mainly young, immigrant women in less than a half hour and brought workplace safety regulations in its wake.
