African Heritage Committee
Our Mission Statement
The United Federation of Teachers African Heritage Committee is comprised of educators of African descent. Our purpose is to develop programs and educational activities that create awareness and develops an appreciation of African Culture and Contributions. This, we do to enlighten, educate and elevate ourselves and others about the richness and beauty of the culture of the African Diaspora.
