Topics in humane education typically include companion animals, "wild" or free-roaming animals, animals used in education or research and their alternatives, animals raised on farms, nutrition and a healthy, compassionate lifestyle and the child abuse - animal abuse link. We usually blend humane education materials with the teaching of reading (animals in literature), science (humane science fair projects), music and art.
