Outdoor-Environmental Education Committee
Our main purpose remains to gather and disseminate information about the environment and many outdoor facilities; and activities availible to educators and the school community,throughout the Northeast Region. This information can be used by teachers and community at large in New York City schools to enrich student learning while exposing them to the variety of environments which must be protected to insure the quality of life not only in New York City, but the region and nation as a whole. It is our belief that by teaching our community to cherish our environment, and what it has to offer, can we hope to save it, protect it, and pass it on to future generations.
