IMPROPER ASSIGNMENT OF UFT PARAPROFESSIONALS
It
has come to the attention of the Division of Personnel that some educational
paraprofessionals are left unattended in a classroom setting.
In
view of this, I am requesting that each Superintendent advise the programs under
his or her jurisdiction that educational paraprofessionals must be under the
direct supervision of a licensed teacher in a classroom and/or out-door play.

cooperation in this matter will be appreciated.
