Job Announcement

The New York State Education Department has approved the United Federation of Teachers to be a provider of supplemental educational services under the federal No Child Left Behind (NCLB) law. This service consists of tutoring groups of up to eight students, grades 2-5, in literacy and math. Students who are in Title 1 schools that have not met their performance targets for three or more consecutive years are eligible to receive this after-school service.
