A Message from UFT Liaison: Eugene Rubin

Your participation as a member of our committee is very important to us, and as such we would like to have more members become active on our steering committee this year. If you have the time please look over our meeting schedule and join us as we plan our upcoming speakers and events.
 
As part of our outreach to members we developed a survey requesting your input as to how our committee can better serve your interests. Please take the time to complete the survey that is part of this newsletter and return it to me as soon as possible.

We have another exciting schedule of speakers for the coming year. Already we have had Bob Burwick, Assistant Director of the UFT Welfare Fund, who discussed member benefits, and Claude Hersh, Associate General Counsel of NYSUT who discussed the law and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Both presentations were excellent and our audience responded with overwhelming enthusiasm.
