Committee members visit the
Metropolitan Museum of Art.
On Friday, May 30, 2008 Capably Disabled Committee members took pre-arranged guided touch tours of select exhibits at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan. The ninety minute tours were arranged with the needs of people with disabilities in mind, and the reaction was overwhelmingly positive.

prevail at the Committee’s annual end of term dinner. On Monday, June 9, 2008 committee members celebrated the end of another successful school year of providing valuable assistance to UFT members with disabilities. The large gathering included active committee members and staff members. The annual occasion affords diligent committee workers the opportunity to take a moment to relax and share good times.
