We Thought It Couldn't Happen Here...

Prior to September 2001 little thought was given to a terrorist incident within the borders of the United States.  Since then we all have been forced to examine our vulnerability, including healthcare workers.  Our nations healthcare workers most likely will be one of the first professions to deal with the victims of an incident invovling WMD.  Without the proper training many healthcare workers will not know what to look for, how to insure the victim is adquately decontaminated and what measures to take to insure that the healthcare facility and they themselves do not become contaminated.  These are pictures from a WMD training presented by ICWUC Center for Worker Health & Safety Education.
