Sushi Social for New Teachers

Teachers working less than 5 years relaxed, socialized, ate and networked with each other at KiKu restaurant in Eltingville on January 25th. SI UFT staffers were there along with the SI New Teacher Advisory Committee who sponsored the event.
Everyone had a wonderful time and several teachers won prizes at the end of the event. Teachers enjoyed themselves and had opportunities to learn more about their union while socializing with UFT staffers.
The New Teacher Advisory Committee and the SI UFT are planning more social and informational events. Check your email and UFT bulletin boards for news.
