Dear New Teachers,

Welcome to the Bronx New Teacher Advisory Committee! We are excited that you have chosen to become a part of the great cohort of teachers that we have here in the Bronx. Your career in the Bronx promises to be the most rewarding experience of your professional life. Although there will certainly be many challenges along the way, the Bronx Borough Office (BBO) will be your professional home and together we will help you to navigate those challenges.

We realize that the future of our profession and our union rests in your hands. As a result, the Bronx New Teacher Advisory Committee has embarked on a number of initiatives just for you. We know that you are very busy and quite possibly overwhelmed by the daily challenges of being a new teacher in this borough. However, we ask that you take a few minutes to see what your union has to offer. If for any reason you feel that there is a need that is not being addressed, do not hesitate to contact us at the BBO where someone is always available to serve your needs.
