Welcome Districts 24 and 30 New Teachers

More than 100 new teachers from Districts 24 and 30 joined a host of UFT leaders including Rona Freiser, Queens Borough Representative, Rosemary Parker, District 24, District Representative and Barbara Mylite, District 30, District Representative to learn about everything from salary, to pension, to safety, to how to become an involved new teacher. 

In addition to receiving an overview of the services available through the UFT, members were able to participate in round table discussions where they could ask individual questions.
