UFT Brooklyn Office

BROOKLYN BOROUGH OFFICE
335 Adams Street
Brooklyn, NY 11201
718-852-4900

The staff at the Brooklyn office meets the needs of new teachers everyday. It includes a borough rep, district reps, salary reps, special reps, educational liaisons, pension consultants, and additional support personnel.

  • Your district representative (DR) is a union official, appointed by the president, who tries to resolve issues, usually raised by chapter leaders, which cannot be settled at the school level. You may meet your DR at your borough office, or perhaps your chapter leader will invite her or him into your school.
