Staten Island New Teacher Advisory Committee

The Staten Island New Teacher Advisory Committee is dedicated to addressing the needs of teachers working less than 5 years. Our purpose is to develop a sense of community among SI New Teachers by supporting them in various ways.
The committee helps maintain and update the SI New Teacher website, provide opportunities to network with other teachers during various venues, and help teachers obtain information on their questions and concerns. Committee members are involved with Union activities and they assist in hosting various events.

Contact Analia Gerard at agerard@ufttc.org or Susan Leary at sleary@ufttc.org for information about the committee or if you have any questions or concerns. We will do our best to help you.

The New Teacher Advisory Committee (NTAC) assisted the Staten Island Borough Office with its New Teacher Reception on October 4, 2007. This was the first SI UFT new teacher social event of the school year and was held at Charlie Brown's. It was relaxing, informative, delicious and well attended.
