Financial help for classroom projects for teachers from relocated schools
Teachers whose schools and students have suffered the impact of Hurricane Sandy can get support for school-related projects courtesy of DonorsChoose.org. Organized by a former Bronx high school teacher as an online matchmaker between school projects that need financing and donors who want to support public education, DonorsChoose.org gives our members and friends a terrific opportunity to show support and lend a helping hand to educators from schools hurt by Hurricane Sandy. Members from relocated schools can add their school projects and urge others to donate to those projects. For more information, visit the Donors Choose website.
