How will Klein’s budget cuts hurt your school?

Chancellor Klein is taking $163 million directly out of school budgets and trying to blame “restrictions” on the use of state aid. If the state doesn’t give him the flexibility he needs, the chancellor says, the September cuts will exceed 3 percent of the budgets of more than 400 schools and will go as high as 6 percent, hundreds of thousands of dollars, for larger schools.
