  • Admissions process not broken January 17, 2013

  • From the mouths of babes January 17, 2013

The following letter was sent to President Obama by a student from PS 75, the Bronx: Dear Mr. President: After the shooting in Connecticut, we have to ban guns. Look at all of the children who lost their lives! Many families are devastated and some teachers lost their lives, too. Please make a law to control guns.

  • Parents voice appreciation January 17, 2013

The following letter was written to a teacher at PS/MS 219, Queens: I would just like to take this time to express my gratitude. You have been Ahliya’s second mother for two years. I have faith that as a teacher you would do anything to protect her just as the teachers did in Newtown.
