Asian parents conference a hit
Nov 15, 2007 1:15 PM
For the third year, the UFT and the Chinese American Parent-Student Council of New York City collaborated on an Education Conference for Chinese-Speaking Parents. More than 300 parents — with child care provided for 90 children — attended the 12:30-6 p.m. conference held at Flushing HS on Oct. 21.

Parents register and check on the nine workshops presented in Mandarin Chinese which included literacy and math workshops at all grade levels, as well as one for choosing a high school and another for applying to college.
