Breast cancer treatment conference

The group listens as Dr. Hudis

More than 100 UFTers came with questions to a seminar outlining new treatments for early-stage and metastatic breast cancer on March 4 at UFT headquarters. One of the nation’s top experts in the field, Dr. Clifford Hudis, chief of breast cancer service at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, gave the presentation, which was sponsored by the UFT Health and Cancer Helpline in collaboration with SHARE (Self-Help for Women with Breast or Ovarian Cancer), which works on an ongoing basis to provide affected people with the latest research and to advocate on their behalf. The UFT Health and Cancer Helpline can be reached at 1-212-539-0665.
