More than 100 UFTers came with questions to a seminar outlining new treatments for early-stage and metastatic breast cancer on March 4 at UFT headquarters. One of the nation’s top experts in the field, Dr. Clifford Hudis, chief of breast cancer service at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, gave the presentation, which was sponsored by the UFT Health and Cancer Helpline in collaboration with SHARE (Self-Help for Women with Breast or Ovarian Cancer), which works on an ongoing basis to provide affected people with the latest research and to advocate on their behalf.
