Pride in CTE
Apr 24, 2008 7:49 PM
Career and Technical Education high schools around the city celebrated CTE month in February. Schools staged or took part in various events and programs to showcase the impact that CTE programs have had on students and the work force. “Students who take CTE courses have proven over the years that they do much better on standardized tests than students who do not,” UFT Vice President for CTE High Schools Michael Mulgrew said. “Students become life-long learners and productive members of our work force when they are engaged in CTE.”
