Rhyme and reason

June, moon and daffodils were not on the minds of the Bronx poets starring in the second annual Poetry Jam at the UFT Bronx borough office on Feb. 29. Instead their subjects ranged from the hot and steamy to explorations of political, racial, sexual and gender issues. Twenty-seven reciters, whose ages ranged as widely as their subjects, shared their poetic thoughts with a rapt “adults-only” audience of 75.
