Walking for autism awarenessness

A team of teachers, paraprofessionals, family and friends — the Autism Awareness All-Stars — walked at Jones Beach for Autism Speaks on Oct. 14 and raised $4,500. Most of the group teaches pre-K for children with autism at PS 224@710 in Bayside. Team leader Alyssa Rebhun said, “This cause is dear to our hearts so we all felt the need to support this in a quest to find a cure.”
