Cranky calls

A Lower East Side-Chinatown town hall meeting on May 16 featured UFT President Randi Weingarten, who joined community residents, Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver and more than a dozen City Council members at the Dr. Sun Yat Sen School on Hester Street to blast the mayor and his cuts.
