To the Editor:
I spent 331/2 glorious years teaching high school English. While I do agree that it’s impossible to write a book while teaching, Dan Brown should not be saluted [“Survivor,” Dec. 6]. He’s no survivor! He spent one year in the trenches and quit. What kind of message is that for the “newbies” he claims to be targeting?
