To the Editor:
I don’t know what all the fuss was about having Holy Thursday off. Church services begin in the evening as this day commemorates The Last Supper.
I would really like to see the union expend some energy in, say, getting rid of the ridiculous assessment binders. Or maybe make a stink about how the DOE is contacting parents of high-scoring public school children about how and where to apply for charter schools. You know, real issues.
