The auditorium at UFT headquarters was packed for the first Retired Teachers Chapter general membership meeting of the year on Oct. 13. Among the presenters was Suzy Ballantyn (below), the New York State AFL-CIO’s assistant to the president for governmental affairs, who updated the group on federal health care
legislation.
