New per-diem license procedure

The Department of Education has instituted a new computerized system for those who want to work as per-diem substitutes.
The DOE will automatically mail you a per-diem certificate; however, you must register in the Sub Central system by calling 1-718-935-6740 or online.
During the registration process you will be asked to provide an access ID which is your file number. Once you have completed the registration process you can work as a per-diem substitute.
