Important flu information for providers

Sanofi Pasteur A recent amendment to the public health law (PHL) § 613 requires licensed and registered child care programs to post influenza educational material, beginning this fall, in plain view within their programs. This requirement was put in place to raise awareness about the importance of immunizing children against influenza. Providers can post this Seasonal Flu Guide for Parents in their programs to meet this new requirement. It explains why seasonal influenza is serious, lists signs of influenza and explains how to protect children from influenza. Please post the guide in your program today.
