Providers: Support your union

Almost two years after forming our union, we won our first union contract. This contract is the product of our unity and strength — and our determination to win. We stood together and, in the midst of economic hard times, we won a victory for ourselves and for the working families — and children — who depend on our services.

But this is only the first of many battles we will have to fight. In order to win the struggles ahead, we need your support. We have been able to count on your support in the past and now we are asking you to commit to the future by signing up as dues-paying UFT members.

By signing up, you become an official UFT member, able to vote in any union elections and participate fully in the life of your union. As a member, you’ll also receive our chapter newspaper and be eligible for special member discounts for outings, baseball games and other activities through the UFT’s Just for Fun Department.

Membership dues are $21 per month.

We have already accomplished an enormous amount. Think of what we will be able to do in the future with your active support of the union.
